How Apartment Communities Can Track Leases Back To Google Adwords

You already know Google Adwords is a strong marketing tool for apartment communities, and it’s getting more powerful every day. If managed properly, Adwords should be the #1 lead and lease source for a community.

The million-dollar question we get from clients is how can we track leases back to Adwords?

While there are ways to manipulate your marketing to track leases from Adwords, the struggle is differentiating paid Adwords traffic from the other sources that hit your website.

Tracking Adwords Back To Leases

Finally, there is a solution…

You can now setup the contact and online application forms on your website to track new leases generated from Adwords, tracked at the guest card level.

With an Adwords feature called offline conversions, you can link guest cards to Adwords, giving you the name of the prospect.

Note: You are restricted to only being able to track Google Adwords generated guest cards that come in via email, but this is a huge step in the right direction. It should only be a matter of time before we can track Google Adwords generated guest cards that come in via phone as well.

Another cool feature worth sharing:

Did you know you could track the number of prospects that come on-site who viewed your Google ad via smartphone?

Feel free to contact us for more information on how to set this up for your community.
